You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. 1 Peter 2:9 (NIV)
When you remember that you are God’s treasured possession, you can live out the vision that God has for you. Blessing others should never be motivated by guilt or obligation, but instead by our awareness of God’s love for us and by our gratitude for all He has done for us.
Take a few minutes to reflect on your spiritual journey. How has God demonstrated His love and care for you? How has the message of Christ’s love changed you?
Look for an opportunity to SHOW another person some of the grace, mercy, and help that you have received from God. To whom can you show empathy, provide some assistance, or give a word of encouragement?
Look for an opportunity to TELL someone what God has done and how you are trusting Him today. With whom can you share a part of your spiritual journey?
